FREQUENCIES LISTED BY FCC RADIO SERVICE

1Under FCC "refarming," frequencies in
this Radio Service are now part of the Industrial/Business
Radio Pool. 2This category of users will have a separate coordinator in the
Industrial/Business
Radio Pool.
NOTES
1. Some frequencies may be shared by several Services.
2. 422-429 MHz band. Frequencies in this band, used in the
vicinity of Cleveland, Detroit and Buffalo,
are not shown. See the "CONSOLIDATED FREQUENCY LIST" in Police Call
Plus Volumes 1 and 3
for specific allocations in these areas.
3. 450-470 MHz band. As part of the FCC "refarming, the
old low-power "splits" are now available
for regular use. These "splits," separated from regular frequencies by
0.0125 MHz (12.5 KHz), are
also called offsets. They are normally in the same radio pools as the
adjacent regular frequency.
Examples:
460.100
(460.1125) not shown
460.125
(460.1375) not shown
460.150
4. 470-512 MHz band. In addition to the allocated frequencies
shown, there are frequencies in a
General Pool assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. 806-866 MHz band. These frequencies are allocated locally and not shown.
6. 450-470 MHz, 470-512 MHz and 806-866 MHz bands. Channels
in these bands are usually
"paired" (i.e., two frequencies per channel). Only the base/repeater
frequency of a pair is shown.
The control/mobile frequency is not listed. Mobiles normally operate on the
control/mobile
frequency, but may use the base/repeater frequency for short-range, unit-to-unit
communications.
The separation between the base/repeater frequency and the control/mobile frequency is as follows:
450-470 MHz, the control/mobile frequency is 5 MHz higher,
Example: 460.000 repeater/465.000 control.
470-512 MHz, the control/mobile frequency is 3 MHz higher,
Example: 470.0125 repeater/473.0125 control.
806-866 MHz, the control/mobile frequency is 45 MHz lower,
Example: 855.0125 repeater/810.0125 control.
